Legal orientation
A plain-language overview of the court process and the decisions that commonly need attention.
For therapists & mental-health professionals
Divorce Options® is a free, live online workshop offering general California divorce education across legal, financial, and family perspectives—without asking you to explain or endorse a particular process.
Why this resource exists
Clients may arrive with questions that cross several professional domains at once. The workshop gives them a general orientation so they can identify questions for the appropriate professionals.
It does not ask a therapist to recommend mediation, collaboration, litigation, self-management, or any other path. The invitation is to learn what the options are—not to select one during the workshop.
What clients can expect
The workshop is designed for people considering separation or divorce, as well as people who have already begun the process.
A plain-language overview of the court process and the decisions that commonly need attention.
